Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will identify, lead and execute CI initiatives using data analytics, Lean tools and automation to lift safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.

You will manage high-impact CI projects, supervise CI resources, and coach teams while interfacing with management and customers to deliver sustained value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree as specified with extensive related experience.
• Expertise in Lean, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events.
• Strong data analytics, visualization (PowerBI/Tableau) and SQL/DAX skills.
• Experience with warehouse design tools and automation concepts.
• Knowledge of ISO/QMS, APICS and/or supply chain certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects across the operation to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement plans with data-driven methods.
• Coach teams on lean principles and sustainment of improvements.
• Design and implement QA/QMS processes; support regulatory compliance.
• Interact with account management and customers to drive value.
