Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Global Vice President of Product Management to champion best-in-class product excellence practices and oversee portfolio governance across the enterprise. You will define standards, enable cohesive multi-product solutions, and accelerate business growth by aligning with the CTO of the Electrical Sector.

You will build and lead a high-performing global team, drive market insights, and ensure manufacturability and go-to-market execution for each segment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of product/portfolio management and leadership experience in industrial or technology sectors.
• Experience building standardized global processes across product management.
• Experience across hardware, software, and services portfolios.
• Knowledge of regulatory, cybersecurity, data privacy, and taxonomy frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed structure.
• Proven capability in developing product strategy, markets analysis, and P&L outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year product strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Implement governance, metrics, and stage-gate reviews for disciplined execution.
• Improve planning and delivery of products and integrated solutions for speed.
• Oversee full lifecycle management from concept to end-of-life and launches.
• Drive portfolio revenue growth, profitability, and ROI with business cases and pricing influence.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure on-time market delivery and go-to-market success.
• Champion customer-centricity using VOC, market research, and competitive intel.
• Drive innovation and pursue new tech or business models to enhance offerings.
• Build and lead a high-performing global product excellence team.
