Job summary

Travere Therapeutics, located in San Diego with remote flexibility, seeks a Vice President of People Technology & Operations to steer global People technology, digital transformation, and People Operations. This leader will integrate Workday, ensure data quality, and build scalable services for employees and managers.

The role reports to the Chief People Officer, guiding investments, adoption, and clear communication of technical concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 15 years in People technology, HR systems, or HR transformation, including leadership.
• Eight+ years of managing teams.
• Experience leading HR technology strategy, including Workday, with adoption.
• Experience applying AI to business processes and data privacy considerations.
• Experience in life sciences, pharma, or biotech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the People technology strategy and roadmap aligning Workday with business priorities.
• Lead Workday design, optimization, and ongoing support through internal experts and partners.
• Establish governance, demand prioritization, release planning, testing, and change control.
• Oversee integrations, reporting, and data governance across systems.
• Manage technology investments, vendor relationships, and service value.
• Lead digital transformation using AI, automation, and digital tools.
• Translate strategy into operational priorities and service delivery capabilities.
• Lead a team to execute day-to-day operations while enabling strategic improvements.
• Define access to support, self-service, and escalation paths.
