Zurich E&S in Atlanta seeks a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager to lead and grow a regional E&S Property underwriting team. You will coach staff, drive performance targets, and manage broker relationships to align with strategic plans.

The role combines leadership with hands-on underwriting oversight, requiring a strong market-facing background and the ability to mentor talent. Hybrid work is offered in a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years in underwriting, market facing, broker, carrier, or risk management in commercial insurance OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with 20+ years in claims or underwriting support in commercial insurance, AND
• Experience in E&S Property and at least 2 years of people management

Responsabilités

• Develop, coach, and manage a high-performing regional E&S Property underwriting team.
• Oversee regional performance: new business, policy retention, rate/tiering, portfolio actions.
• Manage regional wholesale broker relationships and underwriter referrals.
• Travel as necessary to support the team and broker relationships (≈25%).
