Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. This remote role requires Central Time hours and a valid P&C license with CPCU/CIC preferred.

You will partner with leadership to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and manage growth across the organization. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage or agency, strong analytical skills, and experience with M&A integration.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations, service delivery, and organizational performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity, reduce variation, and enhance effectiveness.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and operational excellence.
• Ensure alignment with Managed Services and strategic objectives.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and tech platforms.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive initiatives.
• Promote EPIC usage and other technology to improve performance.
