Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, standardize workflows, and partner with leadership to drive growth and profitability. Fully remote with preference for Central Time Zone hours, occasional on-site as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership at a large brokerage, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation preferred, plus a proven track record in workflow optimization and M&A integration.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Promote standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Forecast staffing needs and develop capacity plans.
• Coordinate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Serve as a national Commercial P&C subject matter expert.
• Support M&A integration through actionable operational plans and standardization.
• Engage with producers and operations to drive adoption of new processes.
