Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations. The role partners with executive leadership to drive standardized workflows, optimize processes, and support M&A integration, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and shareholder value.

The ideal candidate will have an active P&C license, CPCU and/or CIC, 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage or agency, and strong analytical and change

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership to strengthen operations and service delivery.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, consistency, and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Drive process optimization to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Support mergers and acquisitions through operational assessments and integration planning.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
