Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations in a senior capacity. This fully remote role prefers Central Time Zone hours, and requires an active P&C license with CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.

The role partners with divisional and regional leadership to standardize workflows, optimize processes, plan capacity, and support M&A integration, while guiding producers and operations to deliver exceptional client service and shareholder

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with Divisional/Regional Leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and consistency.
• Evaluate issues via root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and operational excellence.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and technology platforms.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives through integration planning and standardization.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive adoption of changes.
