Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, standardize workflows, and guide M&A integration efforts. This senior role requires active P&C licensure, CPCU/CIC preferred, and 5–7+ years in a large brokerage/agency with strong leadership and analytical skills.

The position is fully remote with preferred Central Time Zone hours; some onsite presence may be required per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lines Strategy: develop and execute initiatives strengthening Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Operational Excellence: identify challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Workflow Standardization: establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Process Optimization: lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: evaluate issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Workforce Planning: analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth.
• Managed Services Alignment: ensure efficient resource utilization and alignment with goals.
• Technical Expertise: serve as national Commercial P&C subject matter expert on operations and systems.
• M&A Integration Support: assist with integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: build partnerships with producers and leadership for initiative implementation.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: promote EPIC and other tools to improve performance.
• Performance Analysis: use metrics to improve organizational effectiveness.
