LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games is seeking a Manager, Volunteer Experience to shape the volunteer journey for thousands of candidates. The role focuses on delivering operations at the Volunteer Experience Center (VXC) and leading the Volunteer Support Crew and paid staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing volunteer programs, customer service, event operations, workforce operations, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree; or 5 years of equivalent experience in leading volunteer programs, event operations, or workforce operations.
• Previous event and volunteer management experience delivering live events of different sizes.
• People management and customer service experience with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and experience using databases and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day operations of the Volunteer Experience Center, including timelines, logistics, schedules and resources.
• Lead all Volunteer Support Crew operations and coordinate a team of operational paid staff.
• Act as primary on-site contact for Volunteer Support Crew and staff to resolve issues and ensure consistency.
• Manage delivery of volunteer assessments, oversee in-person and virtual experiences, and support training activities.
• Develop and implement a volunteer rewards and recognition program from Pre-Games to Games-time.
