LA28 seeks a seasoned leader to shape and deliver the end-to-end volunteer journey for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. Reporting to the Head of Volunteer Program, you will drive strategic planning, stakeholder management, and mass recruitment to support operations and Games-time readiness.

The role requires 7+ years in large-scale events, a Bachelor’s degree (or 7 years equivalent experience), and proven ability to manage volunteer operations, rostering and CRM systems while

Qualifications

7+ years in large-scale events leading volunteer programs and mass recruitment.
Experience with MS Office.
Bachelor's degree; or 7 years of equivalent experience in volunteer management.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and delivery of the volunteer program across functional areas for both Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Oversee end-to-end volunteer recruitment journey including pre-assignments, assignments, role allocations, offers and changes.
Align recruitment, engagement and deployment plans to ensure consistent communications.
Manage internal and external volunteer stakeholder relationships and timelines.
Coordinate Games-time operational readiness through policies, risk and issue management, and reporting.
