Zusammenfassung

LA28 seeks a Manager, Volunteer Experience to shape the volunteer journey for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, from Pre-Games prep to Games-time delivery. You will lead the Volunteer Experience Center operations and manage the Volunteer Support Crew and staff, ensuring volunteers feel prepared and valued.

You will collaborate with the LA28 Volunteer Program team, plan day-to-day operations, oversee assessments, training activities, and a rewards program that keeps volunteers motivated

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing volunteer programs, customer service, event operations, workforce operations, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree; or 5 years of equivalent experience in leading volunteer programs, event operations, or workforce operations.
• Hands-on operational experience delivering live events of different sizes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and exceptional organizational skills.
• Experience using databases and CRM systems to manage volunteer information.

Aufgaben

• Plan and manage day-to-day operations of the Volunteer Experience Center including timelines, logistics, schedules and resources.
• Lead Volunteer Support Crew operations and engagement, and coordinate a team of paid staff.
• Serve as primary point of contact at the VEC for volunteers and staff to resolve issues and ensure a consistent experience.
• Manage delivery of volunteer assessments, oversee in-person and virtual experiences, and assist with training activities.
• Develop and implement a volunteer rewards and recognition program spanning Pre-Games to Games-time.
