Job summary

Serco is seeking an Experienced Lead Engineer Technician to upgrade the video management system (VMS) at DoD facilities worldwide. You will join a team, travel up to 90% of the time, and work on-site as required while earning per diem.

This role supports US Army IMCOM and involves coordinating server hardware, software setup, and VMS testing. You will mentor mid‑level technicians, lead installation and configuration, ensure cable management, and provide customer training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
• Four years of experience in technical leadership and VMS.
• Experience with server equipment and networked devices is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the server hardware and software setup/installation and configuration of the VMS on-site.
• Conduct testing on the VMS.
• Maintain cable management and verify electrical connections.
• Provide training to customers on-site, on the VMS.
• Act as primary liaison for customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure the project stays on schedule and document progress.
