Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an Experienced Lead Engineer Technician to upgrade the Video Management System (VMS) at DoD facilities worldwide. You will lead server hardware/software setup on-site, configure the VMS per documentation, and coordinate testing with stakeholders.

You will train customers, resolve technical issues, and maintain project schedules while traveling up to 90% (CONUS & OCONUS). Strong collaboration with engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 8+ years with a high school diploma/GED.
• 4+ years of technical leadership and VMS/server equipment experience.
• Experience with installing rack equipment, cable conveyance, and peripheral gear.

Responsibilities

• Lead server hardware and software setup/installation and VMS configuration on-site.
• Conduct testing on the VMS and resolve end-point issues.
• Provide training to customers on-site and act as primary customer liaison.
• Maintain daily status reporting, timekeeping, and expense reporting.
• Ensure project stays on schedule and lead junior technicians.
