Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Experienced Lead Engineer Technician to upgrade the video management system (VMS) at DoD facilities Worldwide. Travel up to 90% of the time, with expenses covered and per diem.

The role supports US Army IMCOM CCTV initiatives, providing on-site installation, testing, and customer training. You will lead server hardware/software setup, perform testing, and act as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring project schedules are met and safety standards are followed across

Qualifications

• Experience with video management systems (VMS) installation, testing, and support.
• Leadership experience directing technicians and coordinating field operations.
• Wamiliarity with server rack setup, cabling, and peripheral equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 90% (CONUS & international) and obtain security clearances.
• Proven track record in customer training and on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Lead server hardware and software setup and configuration of the VMS on-site.
• Test the VMS to ensure operability and reliability.
• Install and configure rack equipment, cabling, and network connections.
• Provide customer training on the VMS on-site.
• Serve as primary liaison to customers ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain project schedule, status reports, and timekeeping.
