Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Missouri is seeking an Executive Director to lead our community, oversee daily operations, and ensure resident care meets regulatory standards while driving financial and occupancy performance.

You will mentor department heads, manage recruitment and onboarding, and partner with families, residents, and local partners to strengthen the community’s reputation and long-term success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of management experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Applicable state licensure is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, posting ledgers, balancing and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and EHR/HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including profit and loss, marketing, sales, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.
• Directly manage department supervisors across Resident Care, Sales, Maintenance, Dining, Life Enrichment, and Admin.
• Recruit, onboard, evaluate, and partner with HR for employee development and discipline as needed.
• Lead community initiatives, attendance, and ROAR-style engagement with residents and families.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold Cedarhurst values in all activities.
