Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to oversee daily operations, strategy, and resident care across the community. You will lead department heads, ensure regulatory compliance, drive occupancy and sales, and maintain financial performance while upholding Cedarhurst’s mission and values.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and collaboration with sales, nursing, and support teams to deliver exceptional resident experiences and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Applicable state licensure is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable and balancing ledgers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EHR systems, HR systems, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Community including profit and loss, marketing, sales, regulatory compliance, maintaining high customer satisfaction, meeting financial expectations, and ensuring a quality workforce.
• Lead and develop department heads and staff across all functional areas, fostering a culture of accountability and alignment with the Company’s mission and values.
• Meet and exceed budgets and targeted community performance goals.
• Hire, orient, supervise, evaluate, review, and discipline subordinate staff.
• Attend corporate meetings and required training sessions.
• Ensure alignment with owners’ vision for service quality and value creation.
