Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead a senior living community with a focus on delivering exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance. You will oversee operations, finances, and a diverse team to achieve occupancy and service quality goals.

You will report to regional leadership, guide department heads, and foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and values alignment while building community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience; senior living experience strongly desired.
• Applicable state licensure is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, ledgers, balancing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day community operations including profit and loss, marketing, sales, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.
• Lead 3–5 supervisors and 30–50 staff across multiple departments.
• Create and manage department schedules to meet labor budgets and key guidelines.
• Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of each department; drive occupancy growth and resident satisfaction.
• Represent the community externally and build relationships with residents, families, staff, and local partners.
