Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead a community with responsibility for strategic oversight, daily operations, and long‑term performance. You will ensure high‑quality resident care while maintaining regulatory compliance and achieving financial goals.

The role requires managing several departments, overseeing staff from supervision to scheduling, and collaborating with Sales/Nursing to drive occupancy and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of management experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Applicable state licensure is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, posting ledgers, balancing and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Community including profit and loss, marketing, sales, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction.
• Make business decisions in alignment with the company’s mission and goals.
• Manage 3–5 supervisors and 30–50 staff across multiple departments.
• Create and manage department schedules to meet labor budgets and guidelines.
• Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of each department.
• Foster a professional environment reflecting the company’s vision and values.
• Meet or exceed budgets and community performance targets.
• Support sales through tours, follow‑ups, and weekly top-prospect meetings.
