We seek an Executive Director to lead a community in Illinois, driving daily operations, financial results, regulatory compliance, and resident care excellence.

The role emphasizes staff development, oversite of sales and occupancy, budgeting, and external community engagement in alignment with Cedarhurst's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and state licensure may be required.
• 2–3 years of management experience in senior living preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions and financial oversight.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including profit and loss, marketing, and regulation.
• Lead 3–5 supervisors and 30–50 staff across departments.
• Manage scheduling and Attendance on Demand to meet labor budgets.
• Drive sales and occupancy growth and represent the community externally.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and high resident and staff satisfaction.
• Hire, orient, supervise, and discipline staff.
