Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead a senior living community, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. This role oversees all departments, drives occupancy growth, and represents the community externally to families and partners.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, state licensure, and strong leadership with experience in operations, HR, and accounting functions within senior living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Applicable state licensure is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, posting ledgers, balancing and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), EHR systems, and HR-related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including profit and loss, marketing, sales, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.
• Adhere to organization standards, mission, and core values.
• Directly manage departments across operations, sales, maintenance, dining, life enrichment, and admin.
• Ensure staffing coverage and labor budget adherence using Attendance on Demand.
