Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, performing preliminary testing, and taking measurements. Training will be provided for those without optical experience.

Weekend and evening shifts may be required; compensation range is $17.15–$22.20 per hour, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits. You will assist with patient flow, comfort during procedures, and learning to operate pretest equipment under

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Ability to understand and document basic medical information.
• Willingness to learn about optics and pretest procedures.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document conditions and medical history to prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures during appointments.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide a seamless patient experience.
