Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients, performing preliminary testing, and recording medical history. Training will be provided for those new to optics.

Some weekend and evening shifts are required, with a focus on delivering a best-in-class vision care experience. You will work under the Office General Manager and directly assist our Doctors to ensure a smooth patient journey and accurate test results in a friendly, collaborative

Qualifications

• Provide direct support to Doctors of Optometry during patient prep and testing.
• Willingness to learn optical industry basics and procedures.
• Prior healthcare/optical background preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document conditions and medical history.
• Maintain smooth patient flow to the Doctor and staff.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training where applicable.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for a seamless patient experience.
