Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, performing preliminary testing, and taking measurements. No optical experience is required; training and tools will be provided to learn the industry and deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

You will help manage patient flow, ensure comfort with procedures, and operate pretest equipment for visual screenings. Collaboration with the doctor and team is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Personable, patient and able to comfort patients during screening.
• Willingness to learn about industry, product and services.
• Training provided; healthcare/optical background preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for exams.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures during appointments.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide seamless patient experience.
