Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for exams, conducting preliminary tests, and recording medical history. Training and tools will be provided for those new to optics.

Some weekend and evening shifts may be required as part of a busy practice focused on a best-in-class vision care experience. You will work under the Office General Manager and directly support doctors, helping deliver high-quality care while ensuring a smooth patient

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for exam prep.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to doctors and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures encountered during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Provide contact lens training for applicable patients and other tests.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
