Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the Eye Care team and deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist the optometrist, gather medical history, and help maintain the flow between clinical and retail functions with care and accuracy.

You will handle patient records, use the CIAO system for data entry, and ensure inventory and sanitation standards are met to support excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills.
• Leadership and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and maintain a professional image.
• Answer calls promptly in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist with eye examinations and gather medical history.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; coordinate with staff when necessary.
• Handle patient records per HIPAA and keep files organized.
• Input patient data into the CIAO system with accurate fees.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and keep exam rooms clean and orderly.
