Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure patients receive the highest quality optometric care. This casual part-time role links the doctor and retail functions while maintaining patient records and clinic flow.

The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to various exam scenarios while supporting retail operations and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a professional image.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Handle phone calls and patient scheduling with courtesy and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory and ensure a clean, organized work area.
