Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor for a casual part-time in-store role. You will greet customers, explain tests and services, and guide them in selecting frames and lenses that suit their vision and lifestyle.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service, communication, and basic math/computer skills. Prior retail or optical experience is preferred, with a friendly, detail-oriented approach to HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and store merchandise.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS.
• Experience in retail or optical preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly (within 30 seconds).
• Answer the phone promptly (3 rings).
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; consult when needed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Operate the POS system accurately and securely.
