Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure top-quality optical care for every patient. You will greet customers promptly, assist with frame and lens selections, and coordinate with optometrists and management to meet patient needs.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and basic math skills, with familiarity with POS systems and store merchandise.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Identifies and addresses special needs with Optician/Management.
• Handles patient records per HIPAA.
• Operates POS system accurately for transactions.
• Explains One Hour processing and delivery times.
• Maintains store appearance per guidelines.
• Supports pre-examination testing and contact lens care.
