Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience in our store. You will greet customers, explain tests and products, and help patients receive the highest quality optometric care while linking doctor and retail functions.

You will manage appointments, assist with contact lens care, operate the POS, and maintain patient records in a HIPAA-compliant environment. This part-time role requires strong customer service, fashion sense, and teamwork, with competitive pay

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds and assist with their needs.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions/information for accuracy and coordinate with Optician/Management when needed.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments securely.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and store cleanliness.
• Assist with contact lens orders and inventory as required.
• Keep displays updated according to company guidelines.
