Job summary

LensCrafters, part-time EyeCare Advisor, is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented professional to greet customers, explain tests and products, and support optometrists and retail teams. You will review prescriptions, handle records per HIPAA, and assist with contact lens orders, payments, and store operations.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, fashion awareness, and math skills, with prior customer service or retail experience in optical settings.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and assists with their needs.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Handles patient records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Places contact lens orders and processes shipments.
• Operates POS with accuracy and processes payments.
• Provides lens/frame guidance based on lifestyle and budget.
