Job summary

Williams and Associates Eyecare is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to coordinate daily administration for doctors, visitors, and patients. The role focuses on delivering an unsurpassed patient experience by connecting the doctor and practice functions seamlessly.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, at least one year of customer service experience, and strong communication skills. The position may involve weekends/evenings depending on location and requires HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of strong customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and listening skills required.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out with courtesy.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally.
• Schedule appointments to optimize provider time and room usage.
• Notify doctor of patient arrivals and delays to maintain schedule.
• Follow up on appointment confirmations and order pickups.
• Process payments and assist with basic billing tasks.
