Job summary

Triangle Vision Optometry is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to manage the daily administration of doctors, visitors, and patients, ensuring an unsurpassed patient experience and a smooth link between front desk and clinical staff.

This role requires strong communication skills, a high school diploma, and at least one year of customer service experience. You may work weekends/evenings as needed, with opportunities for professional development and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients without delay
• Promptly answers the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner
• Schedules appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and provider time
• Keeps appointments on schedule and notifies providers of delays
• Performs reminder calls for confirmations and pickups
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA)
• Determines medical and vision insurance eligibility
• Maintains office systems and a safe work environment
• Adheres to policies, attends shifts in weekends/evenings as needed
• Performs other administrative tasks as assigned
