Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a Virtual Case Manager to coordinate patient access to prescribed medications and provide support across payers, providers, and pharmacies.

You will manage benefits verification, enrollment in copay support, and patient assistance programs while maintaining HIPAA compliance and exceptional patient experiences. This role emphasizes empathy, healthcare knowledge, and system navigation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–2 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare case management.
• Experience with health insurance and Rx reimbursement.
• HIPAA privacy knowledge and patient confidentiality.
• Strong case management and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate to coordinate access to medicines for timely treatment initiation.
• Understand a patient’s support needs and interaction preferences to deliver a seamless, tailored patient experience.
• Provide support to patients and HCPs through prior authorization and appeals processes.
• Educate providers and patients on payer policies to help ensure patients can start and stay on therapy.
• Maintain accurate coverage information in the designated computer system to support data integrity.
