Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to coordinate access to medicines, support timely treatment initiation, and manage shipments across healthcare providers, payers, and specialty pharmacies.

You will educate providers and patients on payer policies, assist with prior authorizations and appeals, and maintain accurate records in our data systems while upholding HIPAA and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–2 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare case management.
• Experience with health insurance and Rx reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access to medicines for timely treatment initiation and ongoing shipments across HCP, payer, and specialty pharmacy.
• Understand a patient’s support needs to deliver a seamless patient experience.
• Assist with prior authorizations and appeals for patients and HCPs.
• Educate providers and patients on payer policies to enable therapy starts.
• Maintain accurate coverage data in the designated computer system while preserving data integrity.
