Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking an experienced RN to support patients through access and treatment journeys, coordinating with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and payers to secure timely therapy and cost assistance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license required
• 3+ years of clinical nursing
• 3+ years of experience in dermatology or immunology preferred
• 2-5 years of case management and patient support experience
• Experience in case management, patient access, HUB services, or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and patient advocacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a patient caseload independently
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a virtual or call center environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and payers to ensure patients gain access to prescribed medication and receive personalized support throughout their treatment journey
• Serve as the primary contact for patients and caregivers to support their treatment journey
• Support enrollments into patient support programs for HCPs
• Guide patients through post-prescription processes including benefits verification and prior authorization
• Provide education on program offerings, insurance processes, disease state, and treatment using approved materials
• Manage assigned patient cases from referral through therapy initiation with accurate, compliant progress
• Conduct benefits investigations to determine insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility
• Manage prior authorization and appeals process with plans and patients
• Identify and address barriers to therapy, including financial and adherence challenges
• Support medication adherence and ongoing patient engagement via touchpoints
• Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and internal teams for seamless care
• Document all patient interactions and outcomes per program requirements
• Monitor case progress and escalate complex reimbursement issues
• Participate in quality initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement efforts
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements
