Job summary

Inizio Engage in the United States (remote) is seeking a Case Manager to support patient access and reimbursement services for a biotechnology product launch. You will be the liaison among patients, providers, payers, and HUB teams to ensure timely case progression.

Responsibilities include benefits investigations, prior authorizations, and guiding patients through financial assistance options, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in patient access, HUB services, reimbursement support.
• Knowledge of benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, and patient assistance programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned patient cases from referral through therapy initiation.
• Conduct benefits investigations to determine coverage and cost.
• Manage prior authorizations and appeals process.
• Identify and enroll patients in financial assistance programs.
• Support communications with patients, providers, payers, and pharmacies.
• Educate on insurance coverage and next steps in the treatment journey.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely therapy initiation.
• Document all case activity in HUB systems in compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor case progress and escalate complex reimbursement issues.
• Answer incoming calls from patients and caregivers.
• Support leadership with tracking escalations.
• Support quality initiatives and process improvements.
• Ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance.
