Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a dedicated patient access and reimbursement specialist to support a leading biotechnology product launch. You will manage patient cases from referral to therapy initiation, conduct benefits investigations, and drive timely approvals and patient enrollment in financial assistance programs.

You will collaborate with internal HUB teams, providers, and payers, ensuring compliant case progression while upholding high standards of patient-centric service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in patient access, HUB services, or reimbursement support.
• Knowledge of benefits investigations, prior authorizations, and patient assistance programs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-focused skills.
• Ability to manage high caseload in a fast-paced environment and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned patient cases from referral through therapy initiation, ensuring timely progression.
• Conduct benefits investigations electronically or by calling insurers to determine coverage and patient financial responsibility.
• Manage prior authorization and appeals, including gathering criteria and tracking requests.
• Identify and enroll patients in financial assistance programs (copay and patient assistance).
• Support communications with patients, providers, payers, and specialty pharmacies as needed.
• Provide education on insurance coverage and next steps in the treatment journey.
