Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a patient access professional to coordinate access to medicines for timely treatment initiation and ongoing shipments. You will partner with HCP offices, payers, and specialty pharmacies to ensure smooth patient journeys.

You will assist with prior authorizations, appeals, and educator patients on payer policies while upholding HIPAA standards in a dynamic, diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of industry experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare case management and knowledge of medical or pharmaceutical terminology.
• Experience with health insurance and Rx reimbursement.
• Understand HIPAA and privacy laws and requirements and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Experience with Adverse Event and Product Quality Complaint reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate to coordinate access to medicines for timely treatment initiation and ongoing shipments.
• Understand a patient’s support needs to deliver a seamless patient experience.
• Provide support during prior authorization and appeals processes.
• Educate providers and patients on payer policies to help ensure therapy initiation and continuation.
• Maintain accurate information in the computer system to support data integrity.
