Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Inside Auto Appraiser to virtually inspect damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and determine the actual cash value of total losses to ensure accurate, timely claim settlements. You will act as a technical resource for auto claim staff and collaborate with direct repair partners to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree, an active adjuster license where applicable, and at least two years of auto physical damage appraisal experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess vehicle damage via virtual inspections.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using estimating software.
• Evaluate and settle total losses by determining ACV.
• Negotiate repair costs with body shops and claimants.
• Identify pre-existing damage and potential fraud indicators.
• Collaborate with Direct Repair partners and claims staff.
• Provide exceptional customer service and explain the process.
