Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Outside Auto Appraiser to inspect damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and determine actual cash value for settlements. You will collaborate with body shops and claim staff, using industry-standard software to ensure accurate and timely results while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree, an active adjuster license where applicable, and at least one year of auto physical damage appraisal experience, plus strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of auto physical damage appraisal or related experience, or completion of Travelers training program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Active adjuster license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage via on-site or virtual inspections.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software.
• Negotiate costs with repair facilities and settle total losses.
• Explain appraisal process to customers and keep them informed.
