Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree, an active adjuster license where applicable, and 1+ year of auto appraisal experience, plus proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent.
• One year of auto physical damage appraisal or similar experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage through on-site or virtual reviews.
• Prepare repair cost estimates and determine actual cash value (ACV).
• Negotiate settlements with body shops and third parties.
• Explain the appraisal process to customers and keep them informed.
