Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Service Writer in Keene, NH to support the Service Manager and deliver a superior customer experience. The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and adherence to VIP processes while educating customers on vehicle conditions based on inspections.

Candidates should have automotive service exposure, a valid driver’s license, and a path toward ASE certifications; LMS and vendor trainings are part of the development plan to enhance team performance.

Qualifications

One year of related experience in automotive service field.
Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
Equipment Safety Certification.
ASE Certification C1- Service Consultant required.
ASE Certification P2- Parts Specialist recommended.
ASE Certification G1 - Maintenance and light repair recommended.
State Inspection License Required (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Makes sure that workplace safety is Priority #1. Follows all safety policies and training.
Serve customers by consulting with them and educating them about vehicle condition based on MPI results.
Aim for better than average customer engagement as measured by SAX score.
Learn and execute activities assigned by the Service Manager to deliver a better customer experience.
Complete LMS training and vendor training; obtain T.I.A BATS & TPMS certifications; ASE certs.
Communicate with the team during daily huddles and store meetings.
Maintain facility/equipment, ensure clean service area, and secure vehicles at close.
