Job summary

VIP Tires & Service seeks a Service Writer to join our team. The role focuses on consulting with customers, explaining vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, and delivering an exceptional service experience. You will support the Service Manager, engage in store meetings, and complete required training for industry certifications.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to VIP processes to ensure customers receive a superior service experience at our Biddeford location.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Sound business sense, with the ability to analyze, prioritize, identify, and implement solutions.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• A comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers by consulting with them, building relationships, and educating them about vehicle condition based on inspection results.
• Aim for better-than-average customer engagement as measured by SAX score.
• Learn and execute activities assigned by the Service Manager to deliver a better customer experience.
• Complete LMS training and relevant vendor training; become certified (BATS, TPMS, ASE) as directed.
• Maintain facility/equipment and ensure a clean service area throughout the day.
• Ensure compliance with the service Code of Ethics and applicable regulations.
• Communicate with management to ensure compliance with service standards and policies.
