Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Service Writer to contribute to an exceptional customer experience at our Bangor location. You will consult with customers, explain vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, and help guide service decisions while upholding VIP standards and safety policies.

Successful candidates will engage with the team, participate in training, and wear multiple hats to ensure timely, accurate service delivery and a high SAX performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, identify and implement solutions.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• A comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers by consulting with them and following VIP processes to explain vehicle condition.
• Educate customers about findings from MPI vehicle inspection and maintenance recommendations.
• Aim for high engagement as measured by SAX scores and customer experience metrics.
• Learn VIP processes and perform LMS and vendor trainings as required by the Service Manager.
• Maintain facility and equipment, ensure clean service department and proper safety practices.
• Enforce compliance with the service Code of Ethics and regulations.
