Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Maine seeks a Service Writer to inform customers about their vehicle condition and coordinate service with technicians. You will build relationships, explain VIP processes, and help the team deliver a different and better customer experience.

This non-exempt hourly role requires learning VIP’s safety standards, completing LMS and vendor trainings, and pursuing ASE and TI.A certifications to support high-performance service delivery.

• A comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers by consulting with them and educating them about the vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Educate customers about VIP processes to achieve SAX score.
• Take LMS training and vendor trainings as required.
• Become ASE certified and TI.A certifications as listed.
• Coordinate dispatching of work orders to technicians to optimize workflow.
• Maintain facility and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
