Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Service Writer to join our team. The role focuses on consulting with customers, explaining vehicle conditions, and guiding service decisions based on MPI inspections.

You will collaborate with technicians and management to deliver an exceptional customer experience. As an hourly, non-exempt position, you will participate in LMS and vendor trainings, maintain safety standards, and help drive VIP programs and SAX results.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
• Strong organization and time management skills are essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
• Current, valid driver’s license and relevant ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and consult customers, explain vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Build relationships with customers and educate them about recommended services.
• Help the team achieve VIP programs and SAX scores.
• Complete LMS and vendor training as assigned by the Service Manager.
• Maintain safety by following all policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Support facility and equipment maintenance to ensure clean, safe service environment.
• Communicate with management to ensure compliance with service standards and policies.
• Assist in daily operations at the service desk and during vehicle processing.
