Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Maine is seeking a Service Writer to support the Service Manager and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will educate customers on the condition of their vehicle based on MPI inspection and coordinate with technicians to ensure effective service delivery.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and automotive knowledge, with ASE certifications and a valid driver's license. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with a standard 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers, educate them about vehicle condition based on MPI inspection
• Build relationships with customers and educate them about VIP processes
• Achieve SAX score targets
• Execute training and assist Manager and team
• Assist with dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians
• Attend off-site meetings as needed
