Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Service Writer at our Manchester, CT location to deliver exceptional automotive service experiences.

You will consult with customers, explain vehicle conditions, prioritize safety, and help the team execute VIP programs to earn customers for life. This non-exempt, hourly position reports to the Service Manager and requires strong communication and organizational skills, plus a willingness to complete LMS training and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of automotive servicing industry and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority; follow safety policies and training.
• Consult with customers, educate them on vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Aim for high customer engagement as measured by SAX scores and VIP processes.
• Learn and execute VIP processes and duties; participate in LMS and vendor trainings.
• Maintain clean and orderly service area and equipment; manage daily prep and closing procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team during daily huddles and meetings.
