Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Service Writer to deliver outstanding customer experiences by communicating vehicle conditions after MPI inspections and guiding customers through VIP service processes. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to service standards.

The ideal candidate will have automotive service knowledge, one year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

One year of related experience in automotive service field.
Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
ASE Certification C1- Service Consultant required.
State Inspection License may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers by describing vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
Educate customers about VIP processes and vehicle maintenance options.
Support Service Manager to meet VIP SAX targets and service standards.
Complete LMS and vendor trainings and maintain certifications as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized service area.
Communicate effectively with the team through daily huddles and store meetings.
